George J. Woods


George most recently appeared on stage as "Donald" in Bed and Breakfast at the Key West Theatre Festival. Prior to that he played "Gaston" in Picasso at the Lapin Agile at the Laguna Playhouse. George appeared as "John Steinbeck" in a highly acclaimed adaptation of Travels with Charley at the Western Stage Company in that author's birthplace, Salinas, California.

A long time Laguna Beach resident, George was seen at the Laguna Playhouse in his Drama-Logue award winning performance as "Nat Miller" in Ah, Wilderness. Other Laguna Playhouse appearances include roles as "Gardner Church" in Painting Churches, "Bottom" in Midsummer Night's Dream, "Sir David Metcalf" in Beyond Reasonable Doubt, "Lloyd Dassas" in Noises Off, "Sherlock Holmes" in Crucifer of Blood, "Dan Snow" in First Monday in October and "Count Dracula" in Dracula.

At South Coast Repertory he appeared as "The Philosopher" in Galileo, "Tubal/Duke" in Merchant of Venice, "Mr. Rogers" in The Showoff, and "Northumberland" in Henry IV, Part I.

George's most recent television appearances were in The Invisible Man, Tremors, the Series, Movies of the week: How to Marry a Billionaire, Bates Motel and Cataclysm, a feature film.

He has appeared as narrator in concert presentations of Peter and the Wolf and Carnival of the Animals for the Monterey Symphony Orchestra.

George has performed in many TV commercials (on camera and voice-overs), as well as in radio spots and narrations.
