Allen Mills

Allen Mills is a consumate musician, organist, coral conductor, teacher and composer. He traces his passion for the organ to the age of seven, when he says, "I began slipping unnoticed into our small church to try my hand at the one manual organ there."

Beginning the study of the organ at age fifteen, he was soon filling important musical positions in churches, schools and theaters. His reputation for quality and orchestral style registrations has brought him numerous engagements and repeat engagements at the finest organ installations in major cities all over the United States.

An accomplished and nationally known master of the theater organ, he was named Organist/Artist in Residence at Proctor's Theater, Schenectady, New York (a post he held for ten years) wherein he created, directed and appeared in over seventy Theater Organ Shows, including his elaborate and highly successful Christmas show which played to 9,000 people each year.

Concert reviews have been choice: "... you not only hear, but feel the very essence of music!" "...the feelings are infectious!"

Most of all, Allen wants to communicate his joy and love for music to you through his program. Enjoy!
